Hello, my name is Richard Edwards. This blog is the final product of ethnographic research completed for my COM111 class at Lincoln Land Community College in Springfield, Illinois. My chosen subculture was MRI technicians. I chose this group of people because I wanted others to see that these individuals care about their patients and are not just in it for the money. After reading my blog, I hope that you will realize just how much these professionals care for their patients.

- Hello - I am a father of 16 (papide16)..... five biological kids and eleven South American college kids that my wife and I took under our wings while they were visiting Springfield, IL for a work exchange program. I love people and love interact with them as well. This blog came as a result of a friendship with an MRI technician and the current, seeminingly, overwhelming negitive image of folks in the medical profession.
